Another huge division win for the girls tennis team. The girls avenged a 3-2 loss last year, by defeating Jackson 3-2 yesterday at Jackson Township. The girls dropped 4 of the first 5 sets played. Senior Audrey Barrett won in straight sets at 3rd singles for a big first point for the girls. The first doubles team of Senior Annmarie Bologna and Junior Sophia Wall won an exciting 3rd set tie break 13-11 for the second point. The 2nd doubles team of Senior Michelle Salvatore and Sophomore Patty Hannon lost a first set tie break, won the second set 6-4 and clinched the match for the Lady Griffs with a10-8 3rd set tie break. Tremendous team win to raise the girls record to 3-0. The girls travel to Southern Regional tomorrow. Congratulations and best of luck.
