The boys Cross Country team competed in the Ocean County Championships on October 15 at Ocean County Park in Lakewood. Sophomore Gavin Oliver led the boys team, placing 5th in the varsity race with a personal best time of 15:54.89. This is the 2nd fastest time in school history at Ocean County Park, and only the 3rd Donovan boy to ever break 16:00 in the 5K. Gavin currently has the #1 sophomore time in the state this year, and his performance yesterday in the 4th fastest ever by a sophomore at the Ocean County Championships. Sophomore Nolan Krebs also had a strong performance in the varsity race, running a personal best time of 20:43. Primo Battista competed in the freshmen race, finishing 30th out of 60 runners.
